World Stroke Day: From Stroke Recognition to Recovery

Every year on 29 October, World Stroke Day raises awareness of stroke prevention, symptom recognition, timely treatment and recovery.

This year, the campaign led by the World Stroke Organization focuses on the message “Every M1nute Counts.” It encourages everyone to recognize the signs of stroke and to act immediately by seeking emergency medical assistance.

Knowing the signs and acting B.E.F.A.S.T. can save lives and help improve the chances of recovery!

At the same time, the impact of stroke does not end with emergency treatment. Stroke survivors may face physical challenges, language and communication (Aphasia) problems and emotional difficulties that require rehabilitation, continuing care and long-term support.

As an add-on to standard stroke treatment and rehabilitation, Cerebrolysin® may support the brain’s recovery processes through multimodal cerebroprotective and neurorestorative actions. Clinical studies have investigated its potential benefits across several aspects of stroke recovery, including motor function, independence, quality of life, aphasia-related deficits, survival and network plasticity.

Stroke recovery is more than just survival.
It is about helping people regain function, independence and quality of life.
