Follow-up on 23rd AMN Congress
The 23rd AMN Congress successfully brought together leading clinicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals from around the world to Istanbul, Türkiye, from 28–30 May 2026.
Throughout three days of scientific exchange, participants explored the latest advances in neurotrauma research, acute care, cerebroprotection, rehabilitation and long-term patient outcomes. The programme highlighted the importance of multidisciplinary treatment pathways that connect emergency medicine, intensive care, neurosurgery, rehabilitation and mental health services.
Scientific Highlights
The congress featured internationally renowned speakers presenting cutting-edge research and clinical experience on topics including:
- Novel approaches to brain protection and recovery following neurotrauma
- Blood-brain barrier integrity and secondary brain injury
- Advances in neurorehabilitation and functional recovery
- Polytrauma management and multidisciplinary decision-making
- Emerging therapeutic strategies and translational neuroscience
- Long-term quality of life and patient-centred outcomes after traumatic brain injury (TBI)
Interactive panel discussions, expert lectures and case-based sessions encouraged active dialogue and knowledge exchange among participants from diverse clinical and research backgrounds.
International Collaboration
One of the emerging strengths of the AMN Congress is its global community. Delegates representing close to thirty countries shared clinical expertise, innovative research, and best practices, reinforcing the AMN's mission of improving neurotrauma care through international collaboration.
The congress also provided valuable networking opportunities, fostering new partnerships between clinicians, researchers and industry representatives committed to advancing neuroscience and patient care.
Looking Ahead
The 23rd AMN Congress once again demonstrated the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in addressing the complex challenges of neurotrauma. By bringing together experts across the continuum of care, the meeting strengthened the exchange of knowledge that ultimately benefits patients worldwide.
We look forward to continuing this momentum and welcoming the international neurotrauma community again for the 24th AMN, to be held in Tashkent, Usbekistan between June 17th and 20th 2027.
